Genuine DMD DLP Chip for Acer X1140

This genuine OEM DMD DLP chip is a replacement component for Acer X1140 and X1140A projectors. It is supplied new and has been extensively tested at least three times to ensure a clear projected image with no dead pixels. The part restores the projector's imaging function when the original chip fails.

Buyers repairing an Acer X1140 or X1140A projector

This chip suits owners of the specific Acer models listed who need to replace a faulty DMD component. It is not for buyers who own a different projector model or who require a complete projector unit rather than an internal accessory part. Compatibility is limited to the X1140 series only.

Tested for zero dead pixels

Each chip undergoes a minimum of three test cycles to verify that the projected image is clear and completely free of dead pixels. This testing standard is the primary specification that determines whether the part will deliver a flawless picture after installation.

Questions about this item

Does my Acer X1140 projector need any other parts replaced when I install this DMD chip?

This chip is the DLP imaging component itself; no other parts are required for the swap, though you should confirm the projector powers on and the lamp is functional before starting.

Will the chip fit an older Acer X1140A unit that I have kept as a spare?

Yes, the chip is listed for both the X1140 and X1140A models, so it is compatible with the older variant you already own.

How can I verify the chip is working correctly once I have fitted it?

Power on the projector and check for a clean, uniform image with no stuck or missing pixels; the supplier tests each chip at least three times to confirm clear projection.
