Genuine DMD/DLP chip for Acer X1340W series

This genuine OEM DMD/DLP chip replaces the imaging component in Acer X1340W, P1340W and X1340WH projectors. It is supplied new and has been extensively tested at least three times to confirm a clear projected image with no dead pixels. The part is intended for technicians or owners performing component-level repair on these specific models.

Tested reliability for consistent projection

Each unit undergoes repeated verification to ensure the projected image remains free of dead pixels before dispatch. This testing regime directly supports reliable long-term operation after installation. The accessory restores the projector's core imaging function without requiring additional software or accessories beyond standard tools.

Verify exact model compatibility before purchase

Confirm that your projector matches the X1340W, P1340W or X1340WH designation exactly, as this chip is not interchangeable with other Acer series. Installation requires disassembly of the optical engine, so assess your technical skill and available workspace beforehand. Buyers needing a complete optical block or a different resolution chip should seek an alternative part.

Questions about this item

Will the DMD chip need any periodic cleaning or alignment after installation?

The chip is a sealed optical component; no user cleaning or alignment is required once it is fitted.

What is the first limit that appears during continuous projection?

Thermal limits of the projector housing will be reached before the DMD chip itself degrades.

Does the replacement chip change fan noise or power draw compared with the original?

It matches the original OEM specification, so fan speed and power consumption remain unchanged.
