Genuine DMD chip for Megapower projectors

This OEM DLP chip replaces the light engine in Megapower ML70, ML71, ML73 and ML74 series projectors. It is supplied new and has been tested at least three times to confirm a clear image with no dead pixels. Installers and service technicians use it to restore full picture quality on compatible units.

Passive component with no active cooling

The chip itself draws no power and generates no audible noise during operation. Thermal performance depends entirely on the projector's existing lamp and fan assembly, which are unchanged by this replacement. Normal use adds no extra load to the power supply or cooling system.

Direct-fit replacement for listed models

The part mounts exactly as the original factory component, using the existing connector and screw positions inside the projector chassis. No adapter cables, firmware updates or mechanical modifications are required. Buyers needing a chip for other Megapower models or different brands should verify compatibility before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DMD DLP chip in my Megapower ML70 projector, and what is the most common mistake?

The chip fits into the optical block of ML70, ML71, ML73 and ML74 models; the step most people miss is reseating the flex cable squarely before locking the retaining latch.

What maintenance or replacement will this DMD DLP chip need after installation?

The chip itself has no serviceable parts; only the projector's air filters and lamp module will require periodic cleaning or replacement.

What limit appears first when the projector runs continuously with this DMD DLP chip?

The lamp's rated hours are reached before the chip shows any degradation, since each unit is tested at least three times for dead-pixel-free operation.
