Genuine DMD chip for Promethean PRM-33

This DLP replacement chip is built for the Promethean PRM-33 projector. It restores a clear image when the original imager develops dead pixels or colour faults. The component is supplied new and has been tested at least three times before dispatch. It suits technicians and IT teams maintaining classroom or meeting-room displays.

Suits PRM-33 owners needing a direct imager swap

The part fits only the Promethean PRM-33 model listed in the title. Buyers with other Promethean projectors or different brands should look elsewhere because the chip will not mount or align correctly. It is not a lamp, colour wheel or main board, so it will not fix failures in those subsystems.

Tested three times for zero dead pixels

Each unit passes a minimum of three inspection cycles to confirm a clean image field. The 60-day warranty covers defects found during that period. The chip resolves pixel-level artefacts but cannot correct optical damage, dust contamination or electronics faults outside the DMD itself.

Questions about this item

Does the Promethean PRM-33 projector need any special mounting hardware to fit this DMD chip?

This chip is designed as a direct replacement for the original DMD in the Promethean PRM-33 projector. No extra brackets or adapters are required beyond the standard tools used to open the projector housing.

Will this DMD chip work if I keep the original lamp and colour wheel in my PRM-33?

Yes. The chip is an OEM component made for the PRM-33 optical engine. It operates with the existing lamp, colour wheel and driver board without modification.

How can I verify the chip is working correctly after I install it?

Power on the projector and display a solid white test pattern. The supplier tests each unit at least three times to confirm a clear image with no dead pixels before dispatch.
