Genuine DMD Chip for Ricoh PJ X4240N

This genuine DELL DMD chip is a direct replacement component for the Ricoh PJ X4240N projector. It is intended for technicians or owners who need to restore image quality when the original chip fails. The part arrives new and has been tested at least three times to confirm a clear picture with no dead pixels.

Fits Ricoh PJ X4240N projector service

The chip installs inside the Ricoh PJ X4240N optical engine, replacing the existing DMD device. No other projector models are supported by this part number. Installation requires disassembly of the projector and careful handling of the optical block, so it suits repair shops or experienced hobbyists with the necessary tools.

Replaces a failed or degraded DMD chip

This component upgrades a projector suffering from stuck mirrors, dead pixels or a washed-out image caused by DMD wear. The jump is worth it when the projector powers on but the picture shows permanent artefacts that cleaning cannot fix. It does not add new features or increase native resolution beyond the original PJ X4240N specification.
