Genuine DMD/DLP Replacement Chip

This genuine DMD/DLP chip replaces the light engine in compatible Sharp projectors. It is intended for technicians and owners restoring image quality on supported models. The component arrives new and has been tested at least three times to confirm a clear picture with no dead pixels.

Direct Light-Engine Installation

The chip fits directly into the projector's optical block without additional adapters or cables. Installing it restores the primary imaging function and frees the system from artefacts caused by a worn or faulty DMD. No extra firmware or software steps are required beyond the standard projector reset procedure.

Tested for Clear Output on Listed Models

Verified compatibility covers the Sharp XR-55X, PG-D2710XL, PG-D50X3D, PG-D45X3D and XG-PH80XN. The testing regimen ensures reliable projection for typical presentation and display use. Units outside this model list are not supported and may require a different DMD specification.

The chip is extensively tested at least three times to project a clear image with no dead pixels under normal operating conditions.

Does the accessory generate extra fan noise or heat when the projector runs all day?

The DMD chip itself has no moving parts; any noise or heat comes from the projector’s own cooling system, not from this replacement component.

Which Sharp projector models must I already own for this chip to fit?

Compatible models are the XR-55X, PG-D2710XL, PG-D50X3D, PG-D45X3D and XG-PH80XN.
