Dell Inspiron 17R N7010 Drive Bezel

This genuine Dell OEM faceplate replaces a missing or damaged optical drive bezel on the Inspiron 17R N7010 laptop. It snaps onto the front of the internal DVD or CD drive bay without tools and matches the original black finish. The part restores the flush, integrated appearance of the chassis and covers the drive opening. Part number RH5HX, also referenced as DW44J, ensures exact compatibility.

Suitable models and limitations

This bezel fits only the Dell Inspiron 17R N7010 series and will not align with other Inspiron 17 inch models or different laptop brands. It is intended for the standard optical drive bay; systems configured without an optical drive cannot use this part. Buyers who need a bezel for a second drive bay or a different form factor should look elsewhere. The snap-in clips are moulded for the N7010 chassis geometry.

Snap-in mounting method

Installation uses a tool-free snap-in clip design that engages directly with the drive bay frame. The bezel sits flush when seated correctly and does not obstruct the drive eject button or tray movement. No screws, adhesives or additional hardware are required for fitting. Correct alignment of the clips is the single step that determines a secure fit.
