Condition and target user

This unit is graded B/B+ with light cosmetic wear and a small crack on the bottom casing that does not affect operation. Deciding specification

The installed memory is 16GB of ddr3 and cannot be changed after purchase. Buyers who need more memory should look at a different configuration. The 256GB SSD and 1080p screen are fixed attributes that determine whether this laptop meets the workload.

Questions about this item

Does the Core i5-5300U run quietly when the 14.0" 1920x1080 display is driven all day?

The ultra-low-voltage Core i5-5300U keeps heat low, so the fan stays subdued during long sessions on the 14.0" 1920x1080 panel.

What must I already own to use the 16GB DDR3 memory and 256GB SSD immediately?

Nothing extra — the 16GB DDR3 and 256GB SSD are installed and Windows 10 Pro is activated, so the laptop works straight away.

Will the Intel HD graphics on this i5-5300U drive a second 1080p monitor alongside the built-in 14.0" screen?

Yes, the Intel HD graphics can mirror or extend to an external 1080p display while the internal 14.0" 1920x1080 screen stays active.
