Questions about this item

Does this 250W unit include the motherboard connector used by OptiPlex GX240, 260 and 270 SMT systems?

The power supply is built specifically for those OptiPlex models, so its main power connector matches the proprietary Dell pinout required by the GX240, 260 and 270 SMT motherboards.

Can I run two SATA hard drives on the dual SATA cables while keeping an older IDE drive connected through an adapter?

The unit provides two native SATA power leads; adding an IDE drive would require a separate Molex-to-SATA or Molex-to-IDE adapter because no Molex connectors are present on this supply.
