Genuine Dell OEM Touchpad Ribbon Cable 8W6K8

This genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable connects the touchpad assembly inside the G Series G7 7700 laptop. It replaces a damaged or faulty original flex cable to restore full pointing-device function. The part number is 8W6K8 and it matches the factory specification exactly.

Practical limits of the internal flex interconnect

The flat flexible cable is designed solely for the G Series G7 7700 chassis and will not fit other Dell models or third-party notebooks. It carries only the low-voltage touchpad signal lines and cannot be used for display, keyboard or other internal connections. Installation requires partial disassembly of the laptop base. Buyers needing a different length, pin count or connector pitch should look for the specific part documented for their exact model.
