This 15.6 inch Dell G15 5511 ships new with Windows 11 Home. An Intel Core i7 11th Gen eight-core processor reaches 4.6 GHz turbo frequency. The dedicated GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU brings 6GB GDDR6 memory. 32GB system memory and a 1TB SSD complete the core specification.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.6 GHz turbo frequency deliver in actual gaming workloads?

The eight-core i7-11800H reaches 4.6 GHz on single-thread boost, giving strong frame rates in CPU-bound titles while the RTX 3060 handles graphics.

Which USB-C capabilities are wired to the RTX 3060 model and what do they limit?

One USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port supports DisplayPort alt mode for external monitors; it does not carry Thunderbolt bandwidth.

Will a 2.5-inch drive fit inside the 24.9 mm chassis alongside the 960 GB SSD?

The spec lists only the 960 GB SSD with no HDD bay, so a 2.5-inch drive cannot be added.
