Dell G15 5511 Gaming Laptop

The Dell G15 5511 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-11800H processor with 8 cores reaching 4.6 GHz turbo. It includes 8GB of memory, a 256GB SSD and a dedicated GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed.

256GB SSD Storage Capacity

The 256GB solid-state drive determines how many games and applications install locally before space runs low. Modern titles often exceed 50GB each so the drive fills quickly with a typical library. Buyers who want more storage without adding external drives should consider a larger capacity model.

RTX 3050 Graphics with FHD Display

The GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch screen for 1080p gaming. The bundle includes a 720p webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a Gray chassis. Ports cover USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C with DisplayPort alt mode, HDMI, RJ45 and audio.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.6 GHz turbo speed of the i7-11800H mean for real gaming?

The 8-core i7-11800H reaches 4.6 GHz on turbo, giving strong single-thread performance for high frame rates in competitive shooters and smooth 1080p play in heavier titles when paired with the RTX 3050.

What display output does the USB-C port with DisplayPort alt mode support on this G15 5511?

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port carries DisplayPort alt mode, so it can drive an external monitor at up to 1920 x 1080 or higher without using the HDMI port.
