Dell G15 5515 gaming laptop

This new Dell G15 5515 gaming laptop pairs a six-core Ryzen 5 5600 processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with 32GB of memory and a combined 1280GB of solid-state storage split across two drives. The 15.6 inch non-touch display delivers 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution for clear visuals. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed for immediate productivity or play.

Build quality and connectivity

The chassis measures 1.06 inches thick and weighs from 5.39 lb with a speckled grey finish designed for durability. Ports include USB 2.0 with PowerShare, a USB Type-C connection, SuperSpeed USB 3.2, HDMI output, RJ45 Ethernet and a dedicated power input. Wireless connectivity relies on 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for peripherals. An integrated webcam supports video calls without extra hardware.

Thermals and power in use

The RTX 3050 laptop GPU includes 4GB of GDDR6 memory for dedicated graphics workloads. The six-core CPU runs at a 3.5GHz base clock and can reach 4.4GHz with turbo boost during demanding tasks. A 5.66 lb maximum weight reflects the cooling system built to manage heat from both processors. Power delivery uses the proprietary barrel connector rather than USB-C charging.
