This 15.6-inch convertible runs Windows 11 Pro on a 12-core Intel Core i5-12500H reaching 4.50 GHz. The 8 GB memory and 256 GB SSD support everyday multitasking and light content creation. Buyers who need more storage or memory for heavy workloads should look elsewhere.

Game Shift and 165 Hz FHD panel

Pressing FN+F9 activates Game Shift, which raises fan speed through Alienware Command Center for sustained performance. The 1920 x 1080 display refreshes at 165 Hz with 300-nit brightness and uses an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU with GDDR6 memory.

Grey chassis with webcam and wireless

The Gray finish is described as a robust, easy-care surface. An integrated webcam handles video calls while Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide cable-free connectivity. The 2-in-1 hinge allows tablet or tent modes for flexible positioning.

Questions about this item

Will the 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD need upgrading for heavier workloads?

The system ships with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD; both can be expanded later if your workloads demand more capacity or speed.

Which limit appears first during extended gaming sessions on the RTX 3050?

The 4.5 GHz turbo ceiling on the 12-core i5-12500H and the GPU's thermal envelope will throttle clocks before the 165 Hz panel becomes a bottleneck.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when Game Shift runs the fans at maximum all day?

Pressing FN + F9 activates Game Shift, which spins the fans to their highest speed to keep temperatures down; the trade-off is noticeably louder acoustic output during sustained loads.
