15.6-inch 120Hz gaming laptop

The Dell G15 5520 pairs a 14-core Intel Core i7-12700H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 discrete GPU and 6GB of GDDR6 video memory. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 system memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD provide capacity for modern titles and multitasking workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the black chassis.

Six-gigabyte RTX 3060 discrete graphics

The dedicated GeForce RTX 3060 with 6GB GDDR6 is the specification that determines whether this machine suits your workload. It delivers hardware-accelerated rendering for current games and creative applications at 1080p resolution. Buyers who need more video memory for 4K textures or multi-GPU compute should consider a different configuration.

Thermal and power profile

The 15.6-inch WVA anti-glare panel runs at 120Hz with a 250-nit backlight while the 14-core CPU can reach 4.7GHz turbo frequency under load. Cooling is handled by the internal thermal solution designed for the 5.37-pound chassis. Acoustic output and power draw scale with GPU and CPU utilisation during gaming sessions.

The 14-core processor splits work across six performance cores and eight efficient cores, reaching 4.7 GHz on the performance cores when thermal headroom allows.

What does the Thunderbolt 4 port add over a standard USB-C connector on this model?

The Thunderbolt 4 port carries DisplayPort alt mode for external monitors and runs at the full USB 3.2 Gen 2 speed the platform provides.

Will the 15.6-inch 120 Hz panel fit in a standard 15-inch laptop sleeve?
