Ready-to-play 15.6" gaming laptop

The DELL G5 15 5515 pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H six-core mobile processor with a GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 graphics card. A 120Hz Full HD anti-glare display keeps motion clear in fast titles. 256GB NVMe storage and 8GB DDR4 3200MHz memory handle the operating system and a modest game library. Windows 10 ships pre-installed.

Sustained gaming performance

The 5600H maintains its clocks across extended sessions while the RTX 3050 delivers playable frame rates at 1080p on medium-to-high settings. 8GB of system memory can become a bottleneck in newer titles that demand more than the available capacity. The 256GB drive fills quickly once several large games are installed.

Thermals and daily power use

Dual-fan cooling keeps surface temperatures comfortable during typical mixed workloads such as browsing, streaming and light creative tasks. Fan noise stays at a low hum for office work and rises to a noticeable but not intrusive level under full GPU load. The included power adapter supplies enough headroom for the configured components.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Ryzen 5 5600H and RTX 3050 get during long sessions?

The Ryzen 5 5600H and RTX 3050 are cooled by Dell's dual-fan thermal design; under sustained load the chassis warms noticeably around the rear vent and keyboard deck while fan noise rises to an audible but not intrusive level.

What must I already own to use the 15.6 inch 120Hz display and Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650?

The laptop includes the 1920 x 1080 120Hz panel and Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 (2x2) 802.11ax wireless built-in, so no extra hardware is required for the display or wireless connection.

Can I keep my older USB-A peripherals and external monitor with this 2021 model?

Yes, the G5 15 5515 provides legacy USB-A ports alongside HDMI, allowing direct connection of older mice, drives and monitors without adapters.
