White 15.6" gaming notebook

The Dell G5 ships in a white chassis with a 15.6 inch IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution. An Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor runs at 2.20 GHz base and 4.1 GHz turbo alongside 8 GB of DDR4 memory. A 256 GB NVMe solid-state drive holds the operating system and games. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory drive the display.

Rear ports and dual-fan cooling

Critical connectors sit at the back of the chassis, keeping cables clear of the mouse hand during play. The selection includes HDMI and DisplayPort routed through a USB-C connector, plus wired LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. An innovative dual-fan cooling system with advanced thermal design moves heat away from the CPU and GPU. The 10.6 by 14.3 by .9 inch footprint weighs between 5 and 5.9 lbs.

Thermals and battery life

The dual-fan layout maintains lower surface temperatures during extended sessions while keeping acoustic output moderate. Battery life exceeds 5 hours on typical mixed workloads away from mains power. The 720p webcam supports video calls without extra peripherals. Windows 10 Pro manages the hardware and software stack out of the box.
