Replacement Base Cover Assembly

This new OEM base cover assembly is designed for the Dell Inspiron 1018 netbook. It replaces a damaged or missing bottom chassis using Dell part number FXTTV. The part ships with rubber feet already installed. Buyers who need bottom access doors or integrated speakers must source those components separately.

Fits Inspiron 1018 Chassis

The assembly aligns with the existing mounting points and screw locations on the Inspiron 1018 frame. It restores the structural bottom panel that protects internal components such as the motherboard and battery. No additional brackets or adapters are required for installation. The design frees the user from sourcing individual screws or feet.

Passive Cooling Surface

The cover serves as a passive thermal surface for the netbook's internal layout. It adds no active cooling, fan noise or power draw to the system. Normal use relies on the original ventilation paths already present in the chassis. The rubber feet maintain the factory gap for airflow underneath the unit.
