Genuine Dell palmrest for Inspiron 1018

This original Dell palmrest and touchpad assembly carries part number FKYKK and is supplied new. It is built specifically for the Inspiron 1018 laptop and netbook models. The unit integrates the touchpad surface and its control circuitry in one piece. It restores factory fit and finish when the original palmrest is worn or damaged.

Direct replacement that includes touchpad

The assembly fits the existing mounting points and ribbon connector on the Inspiron 1018 chassis without modification. Because the touchpad controller is already on the board, no separate ribbon cable or daughter-board is required. Buyers who need a different layout, a larger trackpad or a fingerprint reader will not be served by this part. Installation requires only basic hand tools and access to the keyboard deck screws.
