Replacement palmrest touchpad assembly in red for Inspiron 14R N4110 laptops, includes power buttons, quick-launch board and touchpad circuitry
This genuine Dell replacement palmrest and touchpad assembly is designed for the Inspiron 14R N4110 laptop. It restores the original typing surface, integrated touchpad and button functions in a single module. The red finish matches the factory colour scheme for a consistent appearance. It suits owners repairing a worn or damaged upper case.
This passive component has no active cooling, fan or power circuitry of its own. It adds no audible noise and draws no power from the system. Installation simply reconnects the existing ribbon cables to the motherboard. Normal laptop thermals and acoustics remain unchanged after fitting.
The package supplies the power button circuit board, quick-launch button board, touchpad with ribbon cable and the mouse button board with underside touchpad circuitry. All sub-assemblies arrive pre-mounted on the palmrest frame for direct installation. No separate drivers or software are required; the laptop recognises the hardware immediately.

Remove the battery, keyboard and screw points to lift the old palmrest. Disconnect the touchpad ribbon cable and the power button board cable; the quick-launch board cable is the one most often left unplugged during reassembly.
The touchpad surface and mouse buttons wear first; the ribbon cable can fatigue at the fold. The power and quick-launch button boards rarely fail unless liquid-damaged.
The red finish shows shine and fine scratches on the palmrest area before any mechanical switch or touchpad sensor degrades.
