Questions about this item

How do I install the palmrest and keyboard assembly on the Inspiron 15 7560, and what step is often missed?

Remove the bottom cover, disconnect the battery, then detach the old palmrest cables; the step many miss is transferring the separate touchpad module because it is not included with this assembly.

What maintenance or replacement will the backlit keyboard need later?

The backlit keyboard is integrated into the palmrest; if keys fail or backlighting degrades, the entire palmrest and keyboard assembly must be replaced as one unit.

What limit appears first on the Inspiron 15 7560 palmrest during sustained typing?

The integrated backlight and key mechanisms share one assembly; heavy use will wear the keyboard switches or dim the backlight before the palmrest structure itself shows fatigue.
