Genuine Dell Inspiron 1564 15.6" LCD Cover

This genuine Dell OEM part replaces the lid assembly on an Inspiron 1564 laptop. It arrives with both left and right hinges and the wireless antenna cables already fitted. The purple finish matches the original chassis colour. Buyers needing a different screen size or a cover without hinges cannot use this part.

Straightforward swap for Inspiron 1564 owners

Installation consists of removing the old lid, routing the antenna cables through the same channels and securing the new hinges. The included cables eliminate the need to transfer fragile wires from the damaged cover. Builders working on other Dell models or on a 1564 with a non-standard bezel will find the mounting points do not align.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the LCD cover and hinges are correctly installed on my Inspiron 1564?

After fitting the assembly, open and close the lid smoothly; the hinges should hold the screen at any angle without wobble, and the wireless antenna cables must route cleanly so Wi‑Fi signal remains strong.

What components are included with the KYD0K purple LCD cover, and what must I supply separately?

The package contains the 15.6″ purple lid, left and right hinges, and wireless antenna cables; you will need to provide the LCD panel, webcam module, bezel and mounting screws yourself.
