Genuine Dell OEM Base Cover

This is a genuine Dell original bottom base cover assembly for Inspiron 16 5640 and 5645 laptops. The part carries Dell part number DT5F9 and arrives new with rubber feet and two captive screws already fitted. It replaces a damaged or missing lower chassis section on those models.

For Inspiron 16 5640 and 5645 owners

The assembly fits only the listed Inspiron 16 models, so buyers with other Dell series or different screen sizes cannot use it. Anyone needing a complete palm-rest, keyboard deck or screen bezel should look elsewhere because this part covers the base only.

Direct replacement with pre-installed hardware

The captive screws stay attached to the cover so they cannot be lost during installation. Rubber feet are moulded in place to restore the original grip and spacing on a flat surface. The blue finish matches the factory colour of the compatible laptops.
