Dell Inspiron 16 Touchscreen Business Laptop

The Dell Inspiron 16 combines a 16.0 inch FHD+ touchscreen with an Intel Core 7 150U processor, 64GB DDR5 5200MHz RAM and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It runs Windows 11 Pro and includes Intel UHD Graphics for everyday business workloads. The Ice Blue chassis features a backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader.

Setup and Common Issues

As a sealed ultrabook, the memory and storage are not user-upgradable after purchase. Driver installation for the touchscreen, fingerprint reader and Wi-Fi 6 normally completes during the Windows 11 Pro first-run experience. The most frequent issue is forgetting to enroll fingerprints before joining a corporate domain.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Confirm that 64GB of soldered DDR5 and a 2TB NVMe drive meet your long-term capacity needs because neither can be expanded later. Verify that the single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports cover your peripheral requirements. Ensure the integrated Intel UHD Graphics satisfies the visual demands of your applications.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 16" FHD+ touchscreen with 300-nit brightness and ComfortView Plus is working correctly after setup?

Open a full-screen white image to check for dead pixels, tap and swipe across the display to verify touch response, and enable the ComfortView Plus toggle in Windows Settings > System > Display to confirm the low-blue-light filter activates.

What ships inside the box with the Ice Blue chassis, and which common accessories must I purchase separately?

The laptop, a coaxial-barrel power adapter and standard documentation are included; a USB-C dock, external mouse, protective sleeve or additional USB-A hubs are not supplied and must be bought separately.

Which configuration should I choose if I need the 64 GB DDR5 5200 MHz memory and 2 TB NVMe M.2 SSD that are listed for this model?

Select the single SKU inspiron 5640-7519BLU-PUS — it already provides the 64 GB DDR5 5200 MHz RAM, 2 TB NVMe M.2 SSD, Intel Core 7 150U processor and 16" FHD+ touchscreen; no other capacity or memory variant exists for this model number.
