Genuine Dell Base Cover for Inspiron 17

This genuine Dell OEM base bottom cover assembly is built for the Inspiron 17 3721 and 5721 models. It replaces a cracked or worn chassis with a factory-original part. The black finish matches the original laptop colour. Buyers who need a different colour or a model outside the 3721 and 5721 range cannot use this assembly.

Direct replacement with included hardware

The assembly arrives with battery latches and rubber feet already fitted, so no extra parts are required. Installation follows the standard bottom-case removal procedure for these Inspiron 17 units. The main risk is damaging the plastic clips or stripping the screw threads during removal of the old cover. Care and the correct screwdriver size prevent most issues.

Limited to two specific Inspiron 17 models

This part number CKPD7 is validated only for the Inspiron 17 3721 and 5721. It will not align with other 17-inch Dell chassis or different Inspiron series. Buyers who own a different Dell laptop or a non-Dell brand must source the correct part for their exact model.
