Compatible Dell Inspiron Models

This front bezel fits the Dell Inspiron 1720 and 1721 17-inch laptops. It is a genuine Dell OEM part with the part number DY659. The piece replaces the original plastic trim that surrounds the LCD panel.

Camera Port Alignment Requirement

The bezel includes a dedicated opening for the integrated webcam. If the original laptop did not have a camera, this cover will leave an unused hole in the frame. Buyers must confirm their screen assembly includes a camera module before ordering.

Colour Match Constraint

The part is finished in Jet Black and is designed to match a Jet Black LCD back cover. Mixing this bezel with a different coloured rear housing will create a visible mismatch. It does not suit laptops with alternative colour schemes.
