Replacement 17.3" LCD lid back cover in metallic black for Inspiron 1750 laptops, includes wireless antenna cable
This genuine Dell OEM replacement lid back cover is manufactured for the Inspiron 1750 laptop. It restores the original metallic black finish of the 17.3 inch display assembly. The part includes the wireless antenna cable for connectivity. Hinges are not included with this cover.
As a passive plastic chassis component, this lid cover generates no heat and produces zero acoustic noise. It draws no electrical power from the system battery or adapter. The part simply provides structural protection for the display panel and internal cabling.
The cover uses Dell factory moulded plastic matching the original metallic black colour. Integrated antenna cable routing maintains wireless reception without extra effort. Missing hinges mean existing or separate hardware must be sourced to complete the installation. Buyers needing a full hinge assembly should look elsewhere.

Remove the bezel, disconnect the old wireless antenna cable, route the new cable through the hinge channels, then snap the cover into place. The step people miss is fully seating the antenna connectors before closing the lid.
The plastic cover itself needs no scheduled maintenance. Only the included wireless antenna cable may require replacement if the conductors fatigue from repeated lid opening.
The hinge mounting bosses on the plastic can develop stress cracks after thousands of open/close cycles, which is the first wear limit on this part.
