15.6-inch FHD Touch Laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen. It runs on an Intel Core i5-1155G7 processor with four cores and a base clock of 2.50 GHz. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handle the display output. The system includes 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1024GB SSD. Windows 11 Home in S mode comes pre-installed.

Home users needing touch input

This configuration suits people who want a responsive touch display for direct interaction with Windows 11. The 32GB of RAM supports heavy multitasking and large browser sessions. Buyers who need a backlit keyboard for low-light typing should look elsewhere. Users requiring discrete graphics performance for gaming or 3D rendering will not find it here.

32GB DDR4 memory capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 32GB of DDR4 system memory. This amount determines whether the laptop can run your specific workload without paging to the SSD. Verify that your applications require this capacity or less before purchasing. The memory type is fixed and not user-upgradable to a different generation.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32GB RAM and 1024GB SSD configuration or a smaller one?

The 32GB DDR4 memory and 1024GB SSD are already installed, so the laptop handles heavy multitasking and large project files without an immediate upgrade.

What does the 4.40 GHz turbo clock mean for daily work?

The Core i5-1155G7 lifts from its 2.50 GHz base to 4.40 GHz on short bursts, speeding up spreadsheet recalculations and app launches before settling back to a cooler, quieter speed.

Which ports limit my external display choices?

The single HDMI 1.4 output caps an external monitor at 1920 x 1080 resolution, while the two USB-A 3.2 ports and one USB-A 2.0 port handle peripherals and storage.
