Dell Inspiron 3520 15.6 Touch Laptop

This Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It uses a 12th generation Intel Core i5-1235U processor with 10 cores and a 4.40GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles the display output.

Suits users wanting touch input

The touchscreen and 32GB DDR4 configuration suit professionals who annotate documents or run multiple applications simultaneously. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for gaming or 3D rendering should look elsewhere. Those requiring a dedicated GPU or a different operating system will not find them here.

32GB DDR4 memory decides fit

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the 32GB DDR4 memory capacity. It determines how many browser tabs, virtual machines or large datasets stay resident without swapping. If your workload fits inside that amount, the laptop meets the requirement; if it exceeds it, the machine cannot be upgraded further.

Questions about this item

What USB standard do the two USB 3.2 ports on the Dell Inspiron 3520 use, and what practical speed limit does that set?

The two USB 3.2 ports run at the 3.2 specification, capping real-world throughput at the 3.2 signalling rate.

What physical clearance does the 15.6-inch chassis of the Dell Inspiron 3520 require for a snug fit in a sleeve or bag?

The 15.6-inch footprint dictates the minimum internal dimensions; allow a few millimetres extra on each side for the lid hinge and port overhang.

How is the 32 GB DDR4 memory installed in the Dell Inspiron 3520, and which step do buyers often miss?

The 32 GB DDR4 is factory-fitted in dual-channel configuration; the common oversight is assuming a free slot exists for later expansion.
