Purpose-built laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 15 is a new 15.6-inch Windows 11 Pro laptop with a 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U processor, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. It targets professionals and students who need a responsive touchscreen device for daily productivity and multitasking.

Capacity and headroom

The 32GB DDR4 memory and 10-core CPU handle heavy multitasking, large spreadsheets and multiple browser tabs comfortably. The 512GB PCIe SSD offers fast boot and load times, though users with extensive media libraries may eventually require external storage. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics supports casual creative work but runs out of headroom for modern 3D rendering or gaming.

Deciding specification

The 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen running at 1920 x 1080 resolution is the single specification that decides suitability; buyers who need a non-touch display, higher resolution or a smaller form factor should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.2 Type-A ports run my existing USB 2.0 peripherals without extra adapters?

Yes, the two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and one USB 2.0 Type-A port are backward compatible, so older keyboards, mice and drives work directly.

How can I verify the Intel Iris Xe graphics are active after I finish Windows 11 Pro setup?

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters and confirm Intel Iris Xe Graphics appears with no warning icon; the 15.6" FHD touchscreen should then show 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Does the box include an HDMI cable or SD card for the built-in reader, or must I buy them separately?

The laptop ships with the 65 W power adapter only; an HDMI cable and any SD media card are not included and must be purchased separately.
