15.6" FHD Touchscreen Laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 15 is a new 15.6 inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen. It runs on a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. The system includes 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed for professional use.

Upgrade From Older Integrated Graphics

This model replaces laptops limited to dual-core processors and smaller solid-state drives. The 10-core CPU and 512GB storage handle multitasking and large file libraries without constant swapping. Buyers who need discrete graphics for rendering or modern gaming titles should look elsewhere. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics suit office applications and media playback.

HDMI 1.4b And USB 2.0 Port Limits

Video output relies on an HDMI 1.4b port which caps external displays at 1080p resolution. One USB 2.0 Type-A port remains for legacy peripherals while two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports handle faster transfers. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The chassis measures 14.11 x 9.27 x 0.83 inches and weighs 3.65 pounds.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6" chassis fit in a standard 15-inch laptop sleeve?

The laptop measures 14.11 x 9.27 x 0.83 inches, so a sleeve sized for 15.6" devices will accommodate it.

What screw size secures the 512GB PCIe SSD for a storage upgrade?

The drive uses a single M.2 2280 screw; the common mistake is using a longer screw that contacts the motherboard.

Is the 16GB DDR4 memory soldered or socketed for future expansion?

The 16GB DDR4 is installed in a SO-DIMM slot, leaving one slot free for an additional module up to the platform limit.
