Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop for everyday work

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch FHD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. It includes 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics handles the display output. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 licence.

Check ports and memory before ordering

Verify that the two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port and single HDMI 1.4 port match your peripheral needs. The laptop also provides a headset jack, a power jack and a multi-format SD card reader. Memory and storage are not user-accessible without opening the chassis, so confirm the 16GB and 512GB capacities suit your workload.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The 14.11 by 9.27 by 0.83 inch chassis weighs 3.65 pounds and relies on its integrated graphics and 10-core CPU for heat management during typical office tasks. Fan noise stays low when the processor runs at its 1.2 GHz base frequency. Higher turbo speeds up to 4.7 GHz will increase thermal output and fan activity under sustained loads.
