Dell Inspiron 3520 15 laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 15 laptop is a new 15.6 inch touchscreen notebook for daily work and study. It runs Windows 11 Home and includes an Office 2021 licence. A 10 core Intel Core i7 1255U processor reaches 4.7 GHz turbo frequency with 12 threads. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 FHD panel.

32GB DDR4 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the 32GB DDR4 memory paired with a 1TB PCIe SSD. This combination provides ample headroom for multitasking and large local file storage without requiring an immediate upgrade. The memory is soldered and the SSD uses a PCIe interface.

Suits office users needing touch and storage

This unit suits buyers who want a touchscreen, generous memory and a capacious solid state drive in a 3.65 pound chassis. It is not for buyers who need a backlit keyboard or a fingerprint reader. It is not for buyers who require a discrete graphics card for gaming or GPU compute workloads.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.7 GHz turbo frequency mean for everyday tasks?

The i7-1255U can boost up to 4.7 GHz for short bursts, so single-threaded work like browsing or office apps feels snappy, while the 10 cores and 12 threads keep multi-tasking smooth.

What display output does the HDMI port support on this laptop?

The HDMI port drives an external monitor at up to the panel's native 1920 x 1080 resolution for presentations or a second workspace.

Will a standard 2.5-inch drive fit inside the 0.83-inch chassis?

The laptop ships with a 1TB PCIe SSD and has no 2.5-inch bay; storage expansion would need an M.2 slot if one is available.
