Business laptop with i7-1255U and touch display

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch Windows 11 Pro laptop built for office tasks. It ships with an Intel Core i7-1255U processor, 12GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe SSD. The Full HD touchscreen supports direct interaction for presentations and data entry. This configuration targets professionals who need a ready-to-use business device.

Sustained performance with 10-core processor

The i7-1255U offers 10 cores and 12 threads with a base frequency of 1.20GHz and a maximum turbo of 4.7GHz. Its 12MB L3 cache helps maintain responsiveness during extended multitasking sessions. Integrated Intel UHD graphics handle standard business applications and video playback. The 3-cell 41WHr battery and 45W power supply support typical workday usage away from a desk.

Simple setup with standard ports

Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and activated so the laptop is operational after the initial account setup. Connectivity includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless peripherals. Physical ports provide 2 USB 3.2 Gen1, 1 USB 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and an SD card reader. The 720p webcam and combo audio jack cover video conferencing needs. The non-upgradable 12GB RAM limits future memory expansion.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 41WHr battery and cooling system get when the i7-1255U runs at 4.7 GHz all day?

The 3-cell 41WHr battery powers the 10-core i7-1255U which reaches 4.7 GHz. Under sustained load the cooling fan becomes audible but the chassis stays within normal operating temperatures for a 15.6-inch business laptop.

Which existing peripherals need the USB 2.0 or HDMI 1.4 ports on this 3520 model?

The laptop provides one USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and one HDMI 1.4 output. Older mice, printers or external drives that only have USB 2.0 plugs will work on the single USB 2.0 socket.

Will my older 720p webcam and Bluetooth 5.0 headset pair with the 802.11ac Wi-Fi card?

The built-in 720p HD webcam handles video calls. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs with existing headsets, keyboards or mice. The 802.11ac Wi-Fi connects to current routers without extra hardware.
