Dell Inspiron 3520 with 16GB DDR4 and 2TB NVMe

This 15.6 inch touchscreen laptop runs Windows 11 Home on an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The 16GB DDR4 memory and 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD provide capacity for multitasking and large file storage. It weighs 4lb and includes a 65W power supply.

Home office users needing touch input

The Full HD 60Hz touchscreen supports direct interaction for presentations or creative work. Built-in 720p webcam, Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi handle video calls and wireless peripherals. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics card or more than two USB ports should consider other configurations.

Single 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD as primary storage

The 2TB NVMe drive holds the operating system, applications and user data on one fast volume. No secondary drive bay or mechanical hard drive is present, so total capacity is fixed at 2TB unless external storage is added.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the 3520 chassis so I can check bag fit?

The laptop measures 14 IN wide by 9 IN deep by 1 IN high and weighs 4lb, so verify your sleeve or backpack compartment against those figures.

Which screw or panel must I remove to access the single DDR4 SO-DIMM slot for a memory upgrade?

Remove the nine captive screws on the bottom cover, lift the panel starting at the hinge side, and you will see the lone DDR4 SO-DIMM slot; the 16 GB module already installed occupies it.

When will the 41 WHr 3-cell battery typically need replacement under daily charge cycles?

Expect the 41 WHr 3-cell pack to hold a useful charge for roughly two to three years of daily cycling before runtime drops enough to warrant a swap.
