Ready-to-use laptop for everyday work

The Dell Inspiron 3520 arrives with Windows 11 Home installed, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 4 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. An 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with four cores and eight threads handles office applications, web browsing and video calls. The 15.6 inch IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling.

Connectivity limited to one USB 2.0 port and HDMI

Only a single USB 2.0 port is available for peripherals, so a hub is required when you connect a mouse, keyboard and external drive together. HDMI output supports an external monitor, while the SD card reader and combo audio jack cover basic media tasks. Wireless uses 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, and the 41 Whr battery charges from a 65 W adapter.

Integrated graphics decides suitability for light

Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory and are designed for desktop productivity, streaming and casual browser games. They cannot run modern 3D titles at playable frame rates, and there is no discrete GPU option in this chassis. Buyers who need dedicated graphics performance for creative work or gaming should choose a different system.

Questions about this item

Should I pick this 4 TB PCIe NVMe configuration or look for a smaller drive?

The 4 TB PCIe NVMe drive gives you a very large amount of fast solid-state storage in a single volume, so you can keep the operating system, applications and a big media library together without adding a second drive.

What does the 4.2 GHz turbo frequency actually deliver in everyday use?

Which Wi-Fi and Bluetooth versions does the laptop support, and what speeds can I expect?

It comes with 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, providing reliable wireless connectivity for typical home and office networks and compatible peripherals.
