Dell Inspiron 3520 15.6" laptop for everyday

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch laptop built for general office work, study and web browsing. It runs Windows 11 Home on an Intel Core i5 1135G7 four-core processor with a 4.2 GHz turbo frequency. Integrated graphics handle the 1920 x 1080 Full HD non-touch display. The system ships with 16 GB of memory and a 16 GB SSD.

Ready to use with no internal assembly required

The laptop arrives fully assembled with the operating system preinstalled, so there are no components to fit or cables to route. First boot walks through Windows 11 setup, driver updates and optional WIFI 6 configuration. The only common issue is the very small 16 GB SSD, which leaves almost no room for applications or files after the OS and updates.

Storage capacity is the deciding factor

The 16 GB solid-state drive is the single specification that determines whether this unit fits the buyer's needs. It can hold the operating system and a handful of lightweight programs, but it cannot accommodate a typical media library, large applications or games. Buyers who need more storage must plan for external drives or cloud services from day one.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i5-1135G7 is reaching its 4.2 GHz turbo frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager in Windows 11 Home, select the Performance tab and watch the CPU clock speed while running a demanding task; it should climb toward 4.2 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

What comes in the box with the Inspiron 3520 and what must I purchase separately?

The laptop, a power adapter and Windows 11 Home pre-installed are included; no external peripherals, docking station or recovery media are supplied.

Which storage version should I choose given the 16 GB SSD listed for this model?

This configuration ships with a 16 GB SSD only; if you need more space for files and applications, plan to add a larger internal drive or use external storage.
