What this laptop is and who it fits

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch Windows 11 Home laptop built for everyday office tasks, web browsing and video calls. It suits students, home users and small-business staff who need a reliable, affordable machine for light workloads. Buyers who want more storage or memory for heavy multitasking should look elsewhere.

The spec that decides fit

The system ships with 4 GB of soldered memory and a 256 GB SSD, so capacity is fixed at purchase. The four-core Core i5-1135G7 reaches 4.2 GHz on turbo, while integrated graphics handle the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Install experience and common issues

No assembly is required; Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and ready to use. The 4 GB RAM cannot be upgraded later, so verify the amount meets your needs before buying. ExpressCharge can refill the battery to 80 percent in 60 minutes, and the 802.11ac wireless card supports optional WIFI 6 for better range in busy areas.
