15.6" 120 Hz display for office work

The Dell Inspiron 3520 pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a 15.6-inch IPS panel running at 1920 x 1080 and 120 Hz. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the screen without a discrete GPU.

Suits everyday productivity, not creative pros

This configuration fits students, remote workers and small-business users who need fast storage, a smooth high-refresh display and Wi-Fi 802.11ac plus Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card, a touchscreen or more than one USB 2.0 port should look elsewhere.

2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 2 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. It sets the total capacity available for applications and large local files before any external storage is added.

Questions about this item

Will the 120 Hz 15.6" display work with my older HDMI 1.4 monitor?

The HDMI port can drive an external display, but the 120 Hz refresh rate is only guaranteed on the built-in 15.6" panel; older HDMI 1.4 screens will negotiate their own maximum rate.

How can I confirm the Intel Iris Xe graphics are active after setup?

Open Device Manager under Display adapters — Intel Iris Xe Graphics should appear with a working driver and no warning icon.

What ports and accessories come in the box with the 2TB PCIe NVMe model?

The laptop includes a 65 W power supply, 3-cell 41 WHr battery, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, SD card reader, headphone/microphone combo jack, integrated webcam and Windows 11 Pro; no optical drive or additional cables are supplied.
