Dell Inspiron 3520 touchscreen laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop built for home and office use. It runs Windows 11 Home on an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 16GB DDR4 memory. A 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD provides fast storage for documents and applications. The Full HD display supports touch input for direct interaction.

Sustained performance with integrated graphics

The four-core processor reaches a 4.2 GHz turbo frequency with 8MB cache for multi-threaded workloads. Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics share system memory for everyday visual tasks. The 60 Hz WVA panel delivers consistent colour across viewing angles. A 65W power supply supports the 41 WHr battery during extended sessions.

1TB PCIe NVMe SSD as the storage foundation

The single 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD determines available capacity for the operating system, programs and user files. No secondary drive bay or hard disk is present, so expansion relies on external storage or the SDXC card reader. Buyers who need more internal storage should consider a different model.

Questions about this item

How hot or loud does the i5-1135G7 get when running all day?

The 2.40 GHz quad-core processor boosts to 4.2 GHz inside a thin chassis cooled by a 65 W power supply and a 41 WHr battery; fan noise and surface temperature rise under sustained load but stay within typical ultraportable limits.

What cables or peripherals must I already own to use the 15.6" touchscreen, HDMI, USB 2.0 and SDXC slot?

The laptop ships with its 65 W adapter; add an HDMI cable for an external monitor, standard USB-A devices for the single USB 2.0 port and SDXC cards for the reader — no other mandatory accessories are required.

Will my older USB-A drives, HDMI monitors and SD cards work with the Inspiron 3520 ports?

Yes — one USB 2.0 port accepts legacy USB-A devices, the HDMI output drives older 1080p displays at 60 Hz and the SDXC reader reads existing SDHC or SDXC cards without adapters.
