Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch laptop built around an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor with four cores and eight threads. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout that pairs a 256GB NVMe SSD with a 1TB hard drive. The 120Hz Full HD panel and Windows 11 Pro make it ready for office work and everyday multitasking.

Who this suits and who it does not

This configuration suits people who want a responsive system for documents, web browsing and video calls, with enough local space for large media libraries. Buyers who need a discrete graphics chip for rendering or gaming, or who require a faster Wi-Fi standard than 802.11ac, should consider other models.

The specification that decides fit

The 256GB 2230 PCIe NVMe SSD is the single spec that decides whether this is the right part; it determines how much fast storage is available for the operating system and active projects before the slower 1TB hard drive is used.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 256GB PCIe SSD plus 1TB HDD combo or a single larger drive?

The 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD holds the OS and apps for fast boots, while the 1TB HDD adds bulk space for files; together they give speed and capacity in one laptop.

What does the 4.2GHz turbo frequency deliver in daily use?

The Core i5-1135G7 reaches 4.2GHz on short bursts, so web browsing, Office and video playback stay responsive while the base clock keeps thermals in check.

Which Wi-Fi and Bluetooth versions are built in?

The laptop ships with 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless peripherals and network access.
