Core specification and intended use

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch laptop powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with four cores and a 4.2 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and an 8 TB PCIe NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive a 120 Hz Full HD IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Confirm that your workflow relies on integrated graphics and does not require a discrete GPU. Verify that the single USB 2.0 port, HDMI output and SD card reader cover your peripheral needs. Ensure the 65 W power supply and 41 WHr three-cell battery meet your mobility expectations. The chassis measures 14.11 x 9.27 x 0.74 inches and weighs 3.6 lb.

Build integration and trade-offs

The large NVMe drive removes storage pressure for local files and applications, while the 120 Hz display smooths everyday motion. Integrated graphics free thermal headroom and power budget within the slim carbon-black chassis. The absence of an optical drive and limited USB connectivity mean external hubs may be needed for legacy devices or multi-monitor setups.
