Dell Inspiron 3520 with 32 GB DDR4

This laptop pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and Windows 11 Pro. The 15.6 inch IPS display runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle everyday visual tasks. It suits office workers, students and home users who want a responsive, ready-to-use system.

Dual storage with NVMe SSD and HDD

A 1 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive holds the operating system and active programs for fast boot and load times. A 2 TB hard-disk drive adds large-capacity space for media libraries, backups and project archives. Connectivity includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI output, an SD card reader, one USB 2.0 port and a headset jack. The 65 W power supply charges the 41 Whr battery.

32 GB memory and 3 TB total capacity

The 32 GB DDR4 configuration handles multitasking across browser tabs, office suites and video calls without paging. Combined storage of 3 TB accommodates extensive document collections, photo libraries and local video files. Integrated graphics and a 4.2 GHz turbo ceiling limit sustained gaming or heavy 3D rendering workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 11th Gen Core i5-1135G7 throttle when running at 4.2 GHz for long periods?

The 15 W base power and 41 Whr battery limit sustained turbo; the processor will drop below 4.2 GHz once thermal headroom is used.

How loud and hot does the chassis get with the 65 W adapter connected all day?

The 3.6 lb carbon-black chassis uses a single fan; it stays quiet at idle and warms to the touch under continuous load but remains within normal operating range.

Which peripherals must I already own to use the 1 TB PCIe SSD and 2 TB HDD storage?

No extra drives are needed — both the NVMe SSD and the hard drive are installed internally; only a power outlet for the 65 W supply is required.
