Purpose-built machine

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with four cores and eight threads reaching 4.2 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive running Windows 11 Pro. The integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive a 1920 x 1080 resolution panel at 60 Hz.

Who should choose this and who should not

Home-office workers, students and small-business users who want a responsive Full HD touch display, generous memory and fast storage for multitasking, video calls and document workflows will find the specification well matched. Buyers who need a discrete GPU for heavy 3D work, high-refresh gaming or workloads that demand dedicated graphics memory should look at other systems.

Deciding specification

The single figure that determines fit is the 32 GB DDR4 memory capacity; it fixes the multitasking headroom and cannot be upgraded later, so confirm your workload fits within that limit before purchase.

Questions about this item

Can I connect the HDMI port to my older 1080p monitor and get a stable 60 Hz signal?

The HDMI output supports the panel’s native 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60 Hz, so an older Full HD display will run at its maximum refresh rate.

How do I confirm the 32 GB DDR4 memory and 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD are detected after first boot?

Open Task Manager → Performance and verify 32 GB DDR4 under Memory and a 2 TB NVMe drive under Disk; Windows 11 Pro will also list both in Settings → System → Storage.

Does the box include a USB-C cable or dock, or only the 65 W charger?

The package contains the laptop, 65 W power supply and 3-cell 41 WHr battery; no USB-C cable, dock or optical drive is supplied.
