Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop with 64GB DDR4

This 15.6 inch laptop pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 512GB NVMe SSD plus 1TB HDD. The 120Hz IPS display runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a system professionally upgraded by Velztorm.

Suits office users needing abundant RAM

The integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and 65W power supply limit this machine to light graphical workloads. Buyers who require a discrete GPU for heavy 3D work or high-frame-rate gaming should consider a different system. The single USB 2.0 port and HDMI output may restrict peripheral connectivity for some desks.

64GB DDR4 SODIMM memory capacity

This is the specification that determines whether the laptop can handle large datasets, heavy multitasking or virtual machines without paging to disk. The 8GB DDR4 modules run at standard JEDEC speeds. No other memory type or speed is supported by this platform.

Questions about this item

Does the 15.6" 120Hz IPS panel need an external GPU to run at its native 1920 x 1080 resolution?

No, the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the 120Hz Full HD display at 1920 x 1080 without any extra hardware.

Will my existing USB 2.0 peripherals work with the single USB 2.0 port on this chassis?

Yes, the lone USB 2.0 port is backward-compatible with older mice, keyboards and drives that use the same standard.

How can I verify the 64GB DDR4 memory is recognised at the correct speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose Memory and confirm 64GB appears with DDR4 shown as the type.
