What the laptop is and who it suits

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch laptop powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with four cores and eight threads. It combines 8GB of DDR4 memory, a 128GB PCIe NVMe SSD and a 2TB hard drive. The 120Hz Full HD IPS display and Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics make it suitable for everyday office work, study and light media consumption.

What to check on your current setup

Verify that your existing peripherals use the available ports: one USB 2.0, HDMI, an SD card reader and a headphone/microphone combo jack. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity. There is no optical drive, so any software on disc will need an external reader.

Behaviour under sustained load

The 65W power supply and 41 WHr three-cell battery feed the 2.40GHz base clock that can reach 4.2GHz on turbo. Integrated Iris Xe graphics share system memory, so extended gaming or rendering sessions will be limited by thermal headroom and the 8GB DDR4 capacity. The dual-drive layout keeps the operating system responsive on the NVMe SSD while the hard drive handles bulk storage.
