Inspiron 3520 for everyday computing

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop built around an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with four cores and eight threads. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets home users or small-business staff who need a ready-to-use device for web browsing, document work and video calls.

2TB PCIe SSD and 8GB DDR4 memory

The 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD provides ample space for large media libraries, project files and multiple applications without relying on external drives. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 SODIMM memory handles typical multitasking such as browser tabs, office suites and streaming, though heavy creative workloads or virtual machines may exceed the available headroom.

60 Hz touchscreen and essential ports

The 1920 x 1080 WVA panel supports touch input at 60 Hz, enabling direct interaction with Windows 11 Pro and compatible apps. Connectivity includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI output, an SDXC card reader, one USB 2.0 port and a headset jack, while the 720p webcam covers basic conferencing needs.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 USB 2.0 port and HDMI output work with my older mouse, keyboard and external monitor?

The laptop provides one USB 2.0 port and an HDMI port, so legacy peripherals and an external display connect directly without adapters.

How can I confirm the 15.6" 1920x1080 touchscreen and Intel Iris Xe graphics are functioning correctly after setup?

Open Display Settings to verify the 60 Hz 1080p touch panel is detected, then run the Intel Graphics Command Center to confirm Iris Xe is active and driver version is current.

Does the box include the 65 W power supply and are any essential items such as an external optical drive sold separately?

The 65 W adapter and 3-cell 41 WHr battery are included; there is no internal optical drive, so an external USB DVD writer must be purchased separately if needed.
