Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits office workers, students and home users who want a responsive touchscreen for direct interaction and enough memory for multitasking. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics processor for gaming or 3D rendering should look elsewhere. Users requiring a backlit keyboard for low-light typing will not find one here.

Processor speed and core count

The Intel Core i7-1255U reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 4.7 GHz across its 10 cores and 12 threads. This specification decides whether the laptop can handle your workload within its integrated graphics envelope.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI 1.4 port drive a 1080p monitor I already own?

Yes, the HDMI 1.4 output supports 1920 x 1080 resolution so your existing Full HD monitor will work without adapters.

How can I confirm the i7-1255U is hitting its 4.7 GHz boost after setup?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab and watch the CPU clock speed under load; it should reach 4.7 GHz on active cores.

Does the box include a USB-C charger or just the 45 W barrel adapter?

The package ships with the 45 W barrel power supply; USB-C charging is not supported on this model.
