Questions about this item

What limits performance first when the Core i7-1255U runs at its 4.7 GHz boost under sustained load?

The 45 W power supply and 41 Whr 3-cell battery cap the power budget, so the 10-core 12-thread CPU will throttle before thermals become the primary bottleneck.

How warm and loud does the chassis get during an all-day workload with the integrated UHD graphics?

Passive cooling surfaces and the single fan keep the 15.6" black chassis warm but not hot; fan noise stays at a low office hum because the 45 W adapter limits sustained draw.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to connect two external monitors and wired Ethernet?

You need an HDMI 1.4 cable for one display and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 to HDMI or DisplayPort adapter for the second; a USB 3.2 Gen 1 to Ethernet dongle adds wired networking since no RJ-45 port exists.
