Ready for daily work

The DELL Inspiron 3520 laptop pairs a 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe solid-state drive. A 15.6 inch Full HD IPS touchscreen runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution and includes ComfortView software to reduce blue light. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and a webcam privacy shutter adds physical security for video calls.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 12MB smart cache and turbo frequency up to 4.7GHz help the processor maintain responsiveness during extended multitasking sessions. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory, so heavy graphical tasks will draw from the 32GB pool rather than dedicated video memory. The NVMe drive keeps file access quick when loading large projects or switching between applications over long periods.

Thermals noise and power

Military-grade testing confirms the chassis handles regular use without skidding thanks to rubber feet and hinge bumpers. Three-side narrow borders allow a compact footprint while the IPS panel maintains viewing angles. The built-in HD webcam and HDMI output support external displays without requiring additional adapters for typical office setups.

Questions about this item

Does the i7-1255U run hot or noisy when I keep the Dell Inspiron 3520 on all day?

The 10-core processor reaches 4.7 GHz turbo under load, and the integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics share the same thermal solution; sustained workloads will spin the internal fan, but the military-grade chassis testing is designed to manage heat during extended use.

What must I already own to use the 15.6" FHD touchscreen and webcam privacy shutter on this Dell Inspiron 3520?

Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, so the touchscreen, 1920 x 1080 IPS panel and built-in HD webcam with privacy shutter work immediately; only a power outlet for the included adapter is required.

Can I keep using my older HDMI monitor with the Dell Inspiron 3520?

Yes, the laptop includes an HDMI port that supports external displays alongside the internal 15.6" FHD touchscreen.
